Celebrating a successful first year!
During summer 2023, Avove’s Executive Leadership Team toured around the UK to meet with colleagues across the business to celebrate our first anniversary, provide an update on our performance, and thank everyone for their fantastic contribution in helping us to deliver against our strategic objectives.
We have achieved a significant amount throughout the last year, and our colleagues have been instrumental in helping us to shape the business along the way.
We engage regularly with our colleagues and value their direct feedback on our ambitious growth plans and ways of working. Our colleague roadshows allow us to meet in person and hear their views as well as celebrate their successes – which is vital to creating a great environment for innovation and collaboration. Some of the highlights:
- We celebrated our 1st Anniversary with gift bags for colleagues, cupcakes and a celebratory video that showcased our achievements
- Over 600 colleagues took part in our environmental workshops – sharing their innovative ideas of how we can reduce carbon across our operations
- We raised over £1,500 for Mind and SAMH as part of our win an extra day’s holiday roadshow raffles
To celebrate our first year we created a short film which highlights the great work we have achieved and how we far we have come as an organisation.

We are very proud of everything that our teams have achieved during our first year as Avove and our summer roadshows gave us an ideal opportunity to say a special thank you to our colleagues for their ongoing support and commitment.
