We have signed the Social Mobility Pledge
We are proud to announce we have signed the social mobility pledge!
Helping to improve social mobility is hugely important to us. We believe that everyone, irrespective of their background, should be able to achieve their full potential. As part of our social impact strategy, supporting social mobility is one of our inclusion priorities.
By signing the pledge, we are committed to creating fair opportunities within our business. Diversity and inclusion are an important part of our culture.
We are delighted to sign the social mobility pledge. As part of our social impact strategy, we are committed to ensuring we have an inclusive workforce, and we can play a positive role in increasing social mobility through recruitment, development and progression. I believe no one should be prevented from fulfilling their potential – your success should be determined by how hard you work, the skills and talent you possess and not the background you come from, and I am passionate about supporting people to achieve their goals.”

Social Mobility Pledge
The Social Mobility Pledge campaign was founded by former UK Cabinet Minister, Rt Hon. Justine Greening, and UK entrepreneur David Harrison – Justine is a leading advocate for social mobility and the Social Mobility Pledge is the largest business campaign of its kind. The Social Mobility Pledge encourages organisations to be a force for good by putting social mobility at the heart of their purpose. Organisations taking steps to boost opportunity and social mobility is more important than ever as we face the challenges of a growing opportunity gap in the wake of COVID-19. The three key elements of the Pledge are: outreach, access and recruitment.
At Avove, having people who reflect a range of genders, ethnicities, age groups, sexuality and backgrounds is something we place huge value on. As a team, we are constantly striving to explore, innovate and do things differently.
